THE 2025 TAX FILLING SEASON

Tax Filing Season 2025: Make It Count with the Right Systems in Place

Your guide to smarter filing and maximising your intellectual capital

The 2025 tax filing season officially opens on 7 July, and with it comes an opportunity to not just stay compliant—but to make strategic decisions that unlock value in your business and personal finances. At BGR, we see this annual event not as a deadline but as a milestone—a time to assess your systems, strengthen your relationships with SARS, and deploy smart ideas that add real financial value.

This filing season covers the 2024/2025 year of assessment (1 March 2024 to 28 February 2025), and whether you’re auto assessed, a provisional taxpayer, or filing as a trust, the timelines and responsibilities remain clear. What matters is having the right support to optimise your return—and minimise your risk.
